4.8i Lemon is gone.. moving onto 35d. Came with 214 20s which i removed until spring. For now, all season 19s are on with spacers in the back (just finished installing).
more pics to come after other accessories get installed and the snowstorm passes. |
CONGRATS, CONGRATS! I know the happy feeling! When my 2007 E70 was bought back, it was such a weight lifted!
LOVE the Platinum Gray. I think if I bought an E70 today, it would be a hard choice getting Alpine White over Platinum Gray. Your colour is really beautiful, and will be great for dust, road grime and sludge! After having a 4.8is, 4.8i and 2 ML6s AMGs....not needing to fill up every 4-6 days is so nice. I have had my 35d about a month now and I have filled up 2x (and still have more than 1/4 left on the 2nd fill up). I have about 900 miles on my truck! Again, Congrats. I love it! |
congrats! I love that temp plate...it's my initials!

Looks good Gene......almost as good as your old Aero Kit on my X5  Is Marc putting the hitch on this weekend? I just noticed you don't have the front license plate, so I take it your email got to the dealer before they put it on???

He has a very unique combo of LCI body and winter wheels from pre-LCI... :)
And, I just heard, he has 2 cigarette light adapters behind the center console, while I only have one... damn, time to upgrade ! ;) |

Yes Marc is installing the dustless brake pads and the aftermarket hitch in the next few days.. Regarding plate -- you're correct. We'll see how it goes! :) Gene |
Looks good without the plate. I'm interested to see how the hitch is going to look on the LCI.

Congrats! Very nice! I'm sure those heated seats are coming in handy about now.
I've not heard about the dustless brake pads previously...and after cleaning the 20" wheels (which are so big I can easily reach through to clean the inside of them as well), I'd love to not have it all undone after the first stop sign! Any difference in stopping power or rotor wear? |
