New to Me 2009 X5 xDrive35d and fuel/additive question...

Just joined after buying a 2009 X5 xDrive35d. I've been reading on here quite a bit in anticipation, and just bought 'er this week.

2009, about 15k miles (off lease to a long-term customer of my dealership). Space gray, 18" wheels, premium package, tech package, yada yada yada. I'll post some pics when I get her good and clean again!

Anyhow, I realize that that BMW says 'no additives', and I've done some reading on here about different perspectives on that issue. "Winter fuel" is really just diesel with the mfr's additives in it. Anyone run power service or cetane boost, or any other additives?

The only additive I would consider is a fuel stabilizer, if the vehicle was going to be parked for a (very) extended time.

Fuel has specific additives in it, and you don't know their chemistry. Putting other unknown additives in is ill-advised IMO, as you don't know how they will combine.
