I'm very happy with my "metallic ferric gray" paint job  The first picture is the ferric gray. The second (with amber reflectors) is the original silver. |
Those look great Brian5. Have any pictures of the whole car? I just picked up a 07 Space Grey 4.8 and am looking to throw some new rims on it (has 19" on it). thanks!!

Wow. Ferric looks awesome !

Those look great. Have a local shop due them or ship them out to get them painted?

I've been fortunate enough to not have anything to do with body shops in CT so I spoke to Stephen Smith who goes around to the local BMW, Lexus and some other dealers to do rim repair. He just figured out the best match to a metallic ferric gray and did the clear coat too. Some people say powdercoating is the only or best way to go but I didn't find that necessary. My wheels could not look better. |
Check out my sig..you can search my name for more pics in black...
I would defiantly recommend getting them powdercoated instead of painted. I have had them over a year now and they look brand new still. I do a lot of driving as well 20k+ a year mostly I95 hwy...I paid $125 a wheel to have them done in Miami ... |
You can check out my X5 here http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...updated-3.html It looks like the same wheels you are looking at, I got mine on ebay powder coated already.
