It's not an X5 but I thought some of you might get a kick from this regardless!

LeMansX5 02-07-2011 09:06 AM

That is stock pic. Can you post pic of your bike?

Weasel 02-07-2011 09:12 AM

The black on black looks mean as hell on the RR, what color(s) did you get?

nwilliams 02-07-2011 02:13 PM

It's on order! I have to wait till April to get it...the stock pic is all I have ! I must look at it 5 times a day! lol I got the black one (thunder grey).

Kalekainxx 02-07-2011 02:24 PM

Recently saw a review on that bike. All the professionals said it had the worst factory setup, but they were the fastest on it compared to all the other ones they tested.

I have a RR as well, just from a different company.

Nice, you know if they offer the color in the states?

Speedlogix 02-07-2011 02:45 PM

Sweet bike!!

xoutpostking 02-07-2011 03:08 PM

Mods you must do:

fender delete, red rim tape, HID lights, smoke windshield, tail pipe.

I'm on top of it! I already decided with the fender eliminator, HID. I'm not familiar with the red rim tape?

Jeg Norge 02-07-2011 05:53 PM

i would keep the bike in rain mode all the time for at least 1 year haha. that bike is so powerful.

I had about 6 bikes or so when I was young. Rode quite a few years when I lived in Europe as well....but it's been a very long time since I last rode...so I consider myself sort of new...with previous experience.

I'm 41 with two kids and young at heart but pretty mature...so I'll keep it in check! Don't want my kids growing up fatherless:(

The bike IS staying in rain mode for a loooong time!

I don't think I've ever read a less than glowing review on this bike and in its debut year in the FIM Superstock 1000 World Championship (2010) it blew the Japanese and Italian bikes off the track. Over the ten rounds of the championship, Ayrton Badovini on his BMW S100RR won nine of the ten rounds and was second in the last round for a total of 245 points .... next best was Maxime Berger (Honda CBR1000RR) with 147 points.

Nwilliams you won't be disappointed, congrats on the purchase! I was the same way and NO, the excitement won't fade once you get it. Enjoi and be safe, you've chosen the best production superbike available. Ohh and more good news... MCN just named it winner of the 2011 liter bikes for it's second year in a row. Kawasaki failed at beating it. :kissass:

dmfelger 02-09-2011 12:27 AM

Does it come in a diesel?

Just kidding. Nice rocketship!

Lawfarm 02-09-2011 11:25 AM

Should've gotten the diesel...
:rofl::rofl:

Looks sexy!

J.Belknap 02-09-2011 04:32 PM
