2 weeks in storage (non climate controlled)

gents,

i need your advise.. im out of the country and the 2011 50i was in storage. ill be back next tuesday feb 15. and i need your expertise regarding this matter.

before i left in storage, i drove like 800 miles. so the battery is full charge. i dont know if that's make sense. (hoping by tuesday the car will startup)

anyway, im 70% sure the car will not start. what should i do. i dont have any power plugs at the storage. and also, what kind of charger do i need to use?

thanks in advance

Is this a common concern ? Why ?

Two weeks unattended is nothing to be concerned about. There are times when some of my vehicles are not started for a month or more. I don't think this is as big an issue as people think it is.

Two weeks should be fine. Any more than a month I'd suggest connecting a trickle charger. I'd bet you're more than fine. I left my car sitting for 3 and it started no problem.

You have an E53....not an E70!! :D E53 has good batteries!!! 2 weeks sitting can be for a lot of E70 owners, a for sure NO start problem!

You should put in the key and turn it. It will start.

Been gone for two weeks, car in garage (no fancy climate control) and it starts without a problem. Doubt there will be any issue for you.
