seat belt warning

is there a way to turn of the seat belt warning ring? When my dog sits in the front seat, it gets pretty annoying having to reach over and plug the seatbelt in.

no, the only other option is to have the belt buckled first before anything gets on it.

Anyone knows why my seat belts warning doesn't work? I have no light on dash, even on computer

What PRECISELY isn't working?

Passenger seat, driver? Is it when - like this thread asks- when a passenger sits with no belt, YOUR light doesn't activate???

You don't have a North American vehicle. Only NA vehicles have the weight/occupancy sensor on the passenger side. Lucky you.

I do think that if you try this on the driver side, the icon will illuminate and possibly a chime may go off.

You can code this feature.

Not True, the Euro spec ones have this as well.

The weight sensor in the passenger seat? Thought it was a simple on-off switch.

Yep, weight sensor. I believe it needs the weight sensor because of the dual stage deployment air bag. It deploys less if there is a lighter person on the seat (i.e. a child in a child seat).

Ok, lemme explain:
When I turn the key, the seat belt light turns on and off (it's normal, like all others lights, I guess). I start the car and drive away with no seat belt and the light stay off, no sound, no nothing. Not even the OBC gives me a warning message, nothing.

So, it's there a way to turn ON this feature?

Thanks, Chris
