People people please just a quick answer , even though we have the new idrive , we can update the software yes or no? Just a simple answer no need or explanations

If you have a car from september 2010 you are able to update the bluetooth profile in the combox. This will allow the car to be compatible with additional handsets or potentially fix a problem that is apparent due to the handset firmware changing.

The update is done through the USB socket in the center console so you must have option 6FL to do this.

i did.. i have 2 USB. passenger globe box in front wont let me transfer my USB and iphone. it doesnt recognize it..

but as soon as i stick the usb stick or iphone on the armrest area, i can transfer my music or play.

do you have 2011 50i?
