How to reset the idrive

My idrive is working slower than normal and sometimes doesnt read the navigation DVD. Is this normal?

Are you using an OEM Navigation DVD or a burnt copy? Are you still under warranty?

If you are still under warranty you may be able to get your DVD drive replaced. I have read that some other members had a similar issue that ultimately resulted in a new drive.
