Yellow Angel Eyes
5 Attachment(s)
After trying MANY options to obtain white angel eyes, I couldn't find one that I liked. The Umnitza brand (both the ICE LITE and Genesis ICE) is too dim, and seems to be like a dim fluorescent bulb during the daytime. At night, they looked pretty cool though. The other LED options seem similar (dim) in bright daylight, so I didn't feel compelled to try them....
I tried the PIAA Xtreme White (PN 18235), and liked them, but not much whiter than the originals. I was going to try the GP Thunders, but then came up with a somewhat novel thought. I have always been partial to yellow fogs, so I purchased the PIAA Plasma Ion Crystal Yellow H11 bulbs (PN 13511), and love them in the fogs. I noticed that the PIAA made the Plasma Ion Crystal Yellow H8 bulbs (PN 18535), so I decided to try them out. I installed them, and really do love them. A different look, but exactly what I wanted. I attached some pics...Please excuse the dirty vehicle. We are between storms |
It looks better then it sounds. (I like to read the post before I look at the pics) and on top of that... It would be difficult to make your X look bad. It/they are a visual prodigy. (<--- sp?)
Just so understand what your doing.... These are stock headlights with an aftermarket angel eyes? Or is the entire headlight swapped out? |
I like it. It should be a good contrast with the headlight HID bulbs too

just don't go for purple unique please.

I LIKE it. Ordered a pair on Amazon, after reading your earlier post. Gonna try it on the M6, and then if brave..slap a pair on the 35d. I do have like 6 pairs of GP Thunder H8 Xenons though!!

i love it... anyone else here install them? photos?

I've thought of going this route as well except I'd seen amber LED's when i was looking into it. Thanks for sharing! I may do this as well when i feel like losing some skin to change out the fog light bulb behind the DEF tank again :nanana:

if i can find a set that is less gold and more like 3000k bulbs i would do that if not the "lux" bulb is most likely the best way to go to retain the oem styling but improving the looks.
