I live in Texas where it is REALLY hot from early June until late September, so ventilated seats have been a priority item for me. However, I also would like the special suspension and trim details of the M-sport package. But I can't have both.

So I need to make a decision: ventilated seats or Sport package. What do you all think?

Seems really odd that you can't get what you want. I have a 12 50i SAV and am considering trading it in because i sweat too much in it. Never did in a previous Range Rover. I am convinced that the seat heaters are on non-stop.

I didn't get the ventilated package because i only wanted Nappa and am now contemplating a trade to an M model just to get the good leather and the ventilated package!

If i had to choose (which still seems odd) i would still get the sport/M-sport package over the seats but it is definitely HOT.

I do not think that is correct! the car configurator on bmwusa.com allows both luxury seating and SAV or M Sport to be configured together with perforated leather...

Also the order forms (that I got from my dealer) does not show any conflict (apart from the fact that you cannot order sports seats with ZLS, you are required to order multi-contour)

in short, your dealer is wrong ...

just to clarify you cannot specify the 'sports seats' (481) with perforated leather and/or vents, you must order multi-contour (468)... apart from that the order guide says nothing about these being excluded...

I can send you the guide...

I've had these seats in the past as well, and while I thought they'd be neat, they really weren't worth it.

ventilated or multi-contour?

Had active/ventilated seats on my last one.....never used the "active" part or the "ventilated" part. Found the "active" part to feel very weird and the ventilation did almost nothing.

Went Nappa this time....

Sport or M-sport package much more valuable than ventilation in my book, and it gets wicked hot in Kansas city in the summer....

Best of luck
