x5 4.8i Where is tailgate option in "i menu"?

Where is the option to open tailgate fully in the imenu ? I followed instructions in manual, however I see no option. As well, there is no button when the liftgate is open to close the gate when open. Any help would be great.

I have attached the photo from manual.

You will not have the option in the menu if you do not have the power tailgate.

LOL. If you do not have the button that is illuminated in red on the tailgate, then you do not have the power tailgate option.

hit the tail gate open button either on your remote or on the center console. If the tailgate opens up fully, you have an auto tailgate. If it just clicks, your manual.
