extended wheel flares without spacers?

I have a non sport pack X5 and I wanted to install the extended wheel flares.

I currently have a set of 21" 215's and they sit just right with the standard flares.

I was wondering if I go with the extended flares the wheels will sit recessed in the wheel well rather than stick out.

I didn't wanna put spacers.....anyone have extended wheel flares and no spacers?

Does the wheel sit flush?

Thanks

They don't sit flush, but it looks good. That's how it comes from the factory, so you can see it on any dealer's lot.

Thanks for the photo! That looks pretty good. I like the fact that my wheels sit flush with the standard wheel flares but the extended flares definitely add something to the look as well.

I'm thinking I'll do it without spacers as I don't wanna mess with the factory configuration of the vehicle....spacers or lowering look great but worry me.

it looks fine without spacers, but with them, it just looks bad-ass, especially from the back. As H&R says... <-- GO WIDE -->

:D

I totally agree with you but I'm paranoid of putting spacers on!

Most folks seem to have no issues with them at all but I would hate to be one of the few that has problems with spacers adding unnecessary strain on the vehicle.

What do you have on your E70? Front and back?

15mm front, 20mm rear

unfortunately I don't have a great angle... this will have to do:
