Style 214 - Black Finish
 

So I made the mistake of ordering my 35d with AS 19's and live in MN...After driving an X6 with Pirelli snow tires I HATED the All Seasons! Truly the best of no worlds :rolleyes:

So back in January I purchased a dedicated oem snow set and worked a trade for my All Season 19's on style 214 20's black finish. This new, black finish was to arrive this Spring...

Well, was at the dealer today having my snows removed and still no sign of a staggered black finish 214 set-up from BMW...Fronts are in the system, no sign of the rears...Could be 30 days, could be 3 mos :dunno:

I have the Sport Appearance package which essentially means no chrome and I really didn't want to go Alloy or Ferric finish...So, I worked a deal on 21" Style 215's in black -- they're being shipped from Chicago Monday!

I know black wheels and 20"+ aren't everyones "cup of tea" but I can't wait to pair this set-up up with my Vermillion Red X'er next weekend!!!

And yes, the extended wheel arch kit is already at the dealer waiting for me ;)

ps - big shout of thanks to Eightball for sharing lots of pix of his vermillion X5 on 215's with me...

vermillion red with black wheels look great... any dark color would.

I do like the ferric gray on the red a bit more though.

Yep - I went back and forth on ferric but let the heart rule this one...I love 8ball's truck and that is really what helped me decide..I've never had black wheels or a red vehicle before so it's all something new and different for a change.

Now I've got to persuade the wifey that these only cost a grand or so and that I need a pair of black grills for fathers day to finish it off :cool:
