I have mine covered with PPF, and no issues even over the winter

No problem with mine either. I did have the front kit filmed up. We are in a winter city in Canada with loads of gravel in winter...no issues.

no film protection and I've got no chips, surprisingly. But I only have 20k on my X, mostly local.

Sorry to hijack your thread mate.

I have tow hitch on my X5, do you all think it'd look weird if I just fit the front apron without the rear aero kit? opinion please! ;)
