X6M 20" style 300m fitment on E70 X5
 
has any one put 20" X6M style 300m rims on a non-m X5? or have info on doing so?

i understand that the rear hub size on the X6M is 72.5mm and on the X5 is 74.1mm.

is a 72.5mm hub to 74.1mm wheel hub spacer/adapter from H&R, and longer lug bolts all i need to do this?

yes, and the spacer will also kick them out just enough to look just right.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the spacers to do this. I'm trying to do the same for my 2008 X5. I bought a set of 2008 X6 wheels and need the H&R adapter to get the rear wheels to fit. I can't seem to find definitive answer to this. Where can this adapter be order?

Anyone actually done this? Put the 20" X6M style 300m rims on an E70 X5 (2008 4.8i)?

I've seen a report, on another forum, where the seller said that the rear wheels will have to be bored out for an E70 X5. LeMansX5, in this thread, agreed that it just needs the wheel hub/spacer and longer lug bolts as mentioned above.

Can someone help me answer this? I'm about to purchase the X6M 300m wheels at a good price but I want to know what I'm getting myself into. I don't want to have any hub boring done.

EDIT: Found my answer here http://www.xoutpost.com/762553-post5.html Rear hub boring is no longer required.
H&R TRAK adapters is the way to go. You also get desired size spacer with it. :thumbup:

Thanks for your responses. I have decided that I wont't get the X6M 300m set right now (as I wouldn't use them for months anyway). I'll pursue that option next year.

I checked with ECS Tuning on Friday regarding this adapter and they said that it doesn't fit the E70... only the E39. Can anyone confirm that these will fit the E70 X5? Thanks.
