2007 X5 3.0I Climate Control Problems
 

So, just bought a used 2007 X5 3.0I (47K miles - no warranty) and since driving it off the lot have encountered issues with the climate controls just completely shutting off and kicking back on randomly.

Once the controls kick off there is no way to use the air (heat or AC), seat warmers, etc. It goes blank - like it lost power? I looked in the manual to see if this was something to do with the Auto Climate Settings, but it isn't.

Has anyone else ran across this issue, and if so, what do I need to do to get it fixed? It's soooo annoying to have it go on and off sporatically while driving, especially if I need heat or cooling in the vehicle.
