Video from IPhone (3g) on Rear DVD thru AUX
 

Is it possible to play videos (Movies) from an IPhone hooked up with the apple video cable on the Rear DVD player using the AUX?

I tried it and can't get it to work.

i think i have an issue with the remote.

Yes, I am able to do this with my iPhone 4 and iPad. I have the Apple branded Video out via iPod connector to Composite cables.

I connect the yellow, red, and white RCAs from the Apple connector to the video/audio in RCA jacks on at the bottom right of the rear DVD stack.

I believe you select AUX on the rear DVD menu to access it. Plays flawlessly either over headphones or through the car speakers if you select Rear AUX on the front iDrive.

With your kind of iPhone you may need and OLD Universal dock with the S-Video port on it.

i have both the 3g and the 4. Problem i think is with the remote as i cant select the AUX mode.

just an FYI incase if this happens to you. But I stopped by the Dealer yesterday and they said the remote needs to be paired to the cart again and it takes about 45 minutes. He said that sometimes if you don't use the remote it will lose its pairing? Odd.
