New Angel Eyes on 2011 35d
 

I just picked up my 2011 35d and was surprised to see the new brighter angel eyes on the X5. I would have expected it on the 2012 35i but the current 2011 35d also has this feature. They look unbelievably bright in the daytime. Just like the new 3 series lights. :thumbup:

Nice. I have been thinking seriously of getting a 35D. I almost finalized the deal about 6 weeks ago, but pulled out because of what the Stealer was offering for my trade. Glad I didn't go through with it at that time, because I would have got the older style. I am sure to get them now , if I should do a deal now.

My 2011 35d doesn't either. Took delivery on 3/19. I even asked about the led's before I ordered and I was told that feature wouldn't make it to the 35d until the fall. I was super pissed when I saw LED's on the April builds so I complained to the sales manager. I even showed them the email I sent to the ca asking about LEDs. Long story short, They offered to buy me out of my car. However, I would still need to put more money down to buy a new one. So they get to sell my old car at a profit and they get another 5k from me.......great deal for me eh? That offer benefits them 100%

I originally asked them to swap out the lights and they agreed but claimed that when they looked into it they discovered that the wiring was different so it wouldn't work. I think it is a crock!:gun:

I believe what happened was that when the factory did the 2012 change over for the 35i's, all of the body changes(lights) were also incorporated into the existing model run of 2011 35d's. I'm dieing to see what the 2012 d's changes are going to be, if any.

My 35d is almost ready, in the paint facility, to be finalized tomorrow. I am curious if I'll get the angel eyes. If not, no big deal for me. I'll revert with the news.

All new 35d's delivered to my dealership have the new angel eyes. I'm sure yours will also have it.:thumbup:
