In the blink of an eye.

Then, sir, that speaks volumes about you. Good luck with your truck and future endeavors.

I'll defend myself, my position and the line of attack when being falsely accused and wrongly ousted any time... to anyone... The volume that you fail to read is the one of non confrontation, but I'm sure you're unable to see that path.. There’s a difference between standing down, lying down and standing up.... There are those that think they know "the" way and then there are those that "think" they know the way.. good luck with "your" path, where ever that may or may not lead you...

I'm with trainer on this one. He did not antagonize anyone or warrant an attack, he was simply defending himself. This forum is full of some regulars and people that we generally have high respect for. Trainer is one of them--by attacking him, you are in fact attacking the board. If you have an opinion about the issue at hand, then instead of lambasting the OP for ridiculous things, try to add insight and a possible solution.

Remember the old saying that our mothers always told us, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all". We should all take a lesson from mom (I included sometimes). All in all, trainer was attacked for no reason and was defending himself (did it very well too). And who would wanna mess with a guy who's username is trainer--that can only imply one thing!

Have a good day, guys...

I agree with Naz24 1000%!!! This whole thread serves as a cautionary tale!

Well, not for many of us, because the original post content was deleted and we can only guess at the cause of the dispute.

I have no opinion on aftermarket lights, warranty being denied, etc, because I don't know the details, but I do think that once a post has been responded to, it is a poor move to delete the content. If a poster recognizes that they were wrong, go back and put an edit in, and show it as an edit, but don't remove the original content. In this thread I formed more of an opinion about the OP due to that issue than anything to do with his headlights or dealer dispute.

I formed more of an opinion based on that ridiculous implied threat to rcasey. He should report him to the moderators. Or maybe take him up on it.

My apologies, OP, about misquoting who said what. I meant rcasey, not Richard in NC. I guess Richard and your "dick" comment got the better of me. Richard in NC as well...also my apologies.

That's where I'm coming from. It's one thing to say something like "ok, thanks internet tough guy" and ignore said ITG. To say the previous and then add in, a line or two later; "next time you're in NYC...." blah blah blah. That just screams hypocrite to me.

I don't question TRAINER's abilities or anything to do with him as a forum member. I just question his reply to rcasey. If he was that irked by rcasey's remarks, he should have just PMed him instead of making public threats. That's all I was saying in me previous replies as well. I just think it's over the top to a) be an internet tough guy and b) call someone an internet tough guy then make an implied threat right after.

Regardless, I think this thread has lost its track and that's that. TRAINER removed his OP. Our opinions are our opinions. Can we voice them? For sure. However, we're obviously not going to get anywhere. TRAINER, and others, think he's being attacked. My best guess would be to steer clear of this thread from here on out to avoid getting more involved in a wheel-spinning debate.
