Valvetrain Noise on Startup?

Hi,

In my search for "peace-of-mind," I'm wondering if anyone else notices valvetrain noise/ticking upon a cold start for not even a second before the oil pressure builds? I was informed by my SA that this is not uncommon. I welcome you thoughts/experiences.
