DOH! BMW Apps now an option on 2011 X5 35d
 

During the order process I wanted to add BMW APPS as an option... it wasn't available a month ago. Well NOW it is!!! DOH! Any suggestions of asking BMW to have it added? I know it is simply just a reprogramming of the ECU.... I doubt my sales advisor would be any help but maybe you guys have some ideas?

What stage is the vehicle production at? What does your dealer say about making a change, if it hasn't been built yet?

I understood that the BMW Apps had different/additional hardware as well.

It's sitting in my driveway as of last night. :)

From what I have read as long as you have 6NR installed (we do) you are good to go.
