Finally picked up my 35D
 

Just picked up my baby a couple of days ago. I have already done my first mod which was to install an all black grille. Just loving the car, but I am not feeling those rims at all. Will have to get something else. I want to stay with 19's. The run flats do give a stiffer ride, and will be replaced quickly. Love the sound and torque of the diesel.
Jet Black with Cinnamon Brown interior. And I did get the LED Coronas :thumbup:

Congrats. Cinnamon Brown leather is one of my favourites. Love it!

Yeah, the rims are not my favourite either, so I can see how you are not feeling it. 20" Style 214 are the best BMW wheels for the E70 IMO.

Blacked out grills...I just do not understand this!! To me, especially when you see it from the rearview mirror...it looks like your grills have been punched out & are missing. Just do not get this look, or why anyone would want it!!

I guess you are right, but I just wanted to tone the front down a bit. The plastic chrome was just a bit too bright for me.

You are really going to hate me now, I blacked out the orange reflectors!! :D

Won't it violate some DOT regulations and potentially cause problems with annual inspections, if such exist in your state?

I agree completely. The kidney grill is the most defining characteristic of a BMW. It cheapens the look dramatically with the blacked out grill. Unless you want to look pimp while rollin through the hood on the way to a drive-by, cause you're gansta! Word up G!

Quick off topic q re grills, how come some E70s seem to come with chrome front/black side grills, some come with all chrome and some come in all black? I'm guessing all black is a third party thing but not sure about the other two types.

Gorgeous looking car kakalika. Any chance of a shot showing the contrast between the black and the cinnamon brown interior? Agreed, other wheels would look better. I still think the 20" Y-spokes are the best looking on E70s. What options did you get?
