AC compressor
 

My AC compressor went out last week. Dealer said the part is on back order. Has anyone else heard anything about this.

Contact ANY other dealer, with the part number, and ask whta the delivery time would be!

Realoem or any of the myriad other parts sites will get you the part number.

I had a blower fan go replaced under warranty, I read on here others had the same issue. I haven't heard of the AC compressor going out though.

The dealer can check the entire country inventory (USA). If no one has it, it's probably coming form Germany and can take a while +1month.

Earlier this year I had my center arm rest replaced. It took +1month for the part to arrive from Germany.

1.) The dealer can check other local dealers
2.) They can check the local distribution center. I think there's something like 5 or 8 or something like that in the country (USA).
3.) If its not located anywhere, it's coming from Deutschland

Part finally came in today. Took over a week, coming from Germany. I was just wondering, hopeing they weren't BSing me.

Why would they..:dunno: What would they gain???
