HUD Cruise light issue

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this. On the 08 M-Sport E70 in the HUD, the cruise icon only stays in the window while actively on(engaged). My M5 leaves it up there always once it is turned on. Can't figure a way around it so I thought I would as you guys...thanks.

Yup. This issue was fixed. Ask the dealer to update the software.

In my car (09) once the cruise is enabled (turned on) it changes color and symbol depending on active or not active .. But something is always displayed in the HUD.

That is what my M5 does. I suspected so. Thanks for this.

Follow up

So during my last service last week, I specifically asked about this & relayed what you guys said. I was told---" we see no option for this".

I assume that apathy is probably driving this, but could anyone send me specifics that I could take to them & put it in front of their face?

As always, thx in advance. :dunno:

My 2008 3.0d E70 does exactly this.
