My BMW says production has begun . . .
 

on my 2012 X5 35d. Woo hoo. I'm sure this means they are gathering the bits and pieces, since my understanding is the factory doesn't start assembling 2012 diesels until next Monday, but it will be interesting to see how long it takes before it says "Production Finished." Oh boy, the anticipation is building.

Congrats. What was the build week assigned to your X5d? I know there are few folks out there who were given week 40 for X5d but the production started 1 week ahead of schedule.
I have 50i on order with week 41. Wondering if my car's production will start early too :-/

I had been assigned week 40.

Mine just completed production today (Status 155 or 160 I think) and will be waiting for a 'train to Oxnard'. I estimate arrival at the dealer in 11 days...

I was week 40, it began Sept 24.
