X5 vs. X5 Premium
I am strongly considering getting back into a 2012 X5 and would appreciate some objective comments of the two subject vehicles. It appears that the best bang for the buck is the X5 xDrive35i. I can configure one of these with most of the options I desire, and save about $3500 as compared to the premium model. Your thoughts are welcomed.

Go for the 35d. Lots of rebates makes the price about the same, plus you get the better engine, better fuel economy and all that torque.

On the original question....
I have had heated rear seats, not often used but nice to have. I like the keyless start, and universal garage door opener, and privacy glass. All the above are not available on the non-premium model even as stand-alone options. Other options only available on the premium model I would do without. |
