Hankook i*pike RW11 Snows Installed

I got these snow tires for my winter wheels to replace some michellin latitude ZP's. I ran the all season michellins last winter and they were ok, but I can't wait for snow fall this year. And I wont have to wait too long as we are suppose to get 6-12" today.
I got a good deal on the Hankook's from discounttiredirect.com and have heard good reviews. They are pretty chunky with 13/32" thread depth and are suppose to be quiet on the highway. I will post a review after I've put some miles on them. |
I was looking at picking up a set of these to for the '11 X5d but haven't found many reviews on them. I have experience with Blizzaks and they were incredible but they are going for almost $300/tire, I'd like to find a less expensive alternative with similar performance.

I got a good deal on these and so gave them a shot. Paid $172.00 per tire with free shipping. 255/55/18
So we're getting hit with some snow today. So far, they seem to have pretty good traction. But did slide a little going over 45mph in heavy wet snow. But I might of just been driving too fast...:D |
Finally got power back....Have been in the dark since Sat night. Connecticut got hit pretty hard, especially in my area. Over 750k people lost power from the storm.
Anyway, I was bored and decided to go out Sat night in the blizzard. I had way too much fun. These tires were excellent in the deep heavy snow. Never lost traction. I just picked up some new 19" wheels (style 212) and will be getting the same setup for those wheels. So now I will sell these |
I need a set of 255 55 18s
Are you selling a set of these tires only? I'm interested |
