E70 Nav - screen protector
Anyone recommend a screen protector for the Nav screen on E70 ?
Someone has taken some strong polish to be secondhand E70 - removed the anti-glare coating and leaving it looking crappie when 'off'. Any recommendations appreciated.. |
Bought One...
I bought one from Lexerd last year... $19.95
It works great and looks just like the original coating. |
Protector
Cool - I've fired them an email asking if they do the full professional size screen - the image on Amazon looks like the standard screen.

I have the Professional Size
FYI, I have the professional size 8.5" system in my X, so I'm certain that they do make them.

Just ordered one.

I wish I had.. The screen scratches quite easily.

You can still install one...
My screen was scratched, actually the protective coating was worn off at the botom along the plastic molding. I used rubbing alcohol and a clean rag to remove the rest of the factory coating. Then I installed one of these screen protectors, and now it looks like new and won't show sctratches/coating flaws again.
Good Luck. |

I just got one of these as well and it looks great. I do notice a bit more glare with the screen protector but it isn't too bad. |

Not in ALL conditions, but most of them (more so than the Lexus was). I have a fairly nasty scratch on my screen now but unless the light is shining directly on it, I can't see it. And even then I can't see it unless the display is on - the scratch is only really noticeable in direct light, with the display off. I know a lot of folks have dissed the NAV but personally.. I LOVE my Professional NAV. Best I've ever had. The routing can be weird, yes. But NAV routing is ALWAYS weird. If it's .001 miles shorter, it may pick a weird route, etc. The display is beautiful, it's large (and the right aspect ratio) and readable in all conditions. Even with a big nasty scratch that I can't see. |

I had a scratch on my E90 Nav screen and removed it with polywatch.
Looks like new. |
