a/c not blowing on one vent
Hello,
my driver side vents are barely blowing air and my other sides are just fine, need some help, one member told me it could be the battery, anyone else having this problem? thanks |
Just to cover the basic, you haven't changed anything in the climate controls within iDrive?
|
has nothing to do with the climate control..climate control regulates top middle and bottom. but not sides or single vents
|
is the damper completely open? There should be a thumb wheel next to the vent to open/close the damper.

2012 X5, I was going to post about the same issue, the climate control is really weird, it keeps blowing cool air in the center vents but it will blow hot air from the bottom area. When I try to adjust the direction (top/mid/bottom) it goes even wilder, but it still keeps interior warm. It feels like the center keeps the vehicle refreshed while the bottom heats it up so you can actually breathe better.. Who knows.. too many functions, easy to screw up. Luckily you can simply turn off the center vents to avoid cool air.

Just adjust the air flow wheel/scroll in the middle vents to the middle. Side vents should be all the way open. It will help even out the air flow.
