SA recommendations in Houston area

Hi,

I'm looking for a quality and reliable SA in the Houston area. I've been through multiple advisors over the last few years, mainly due to high attrition in this area.

Can anyone recommend a good SA in Houston? All the good ones seem to leave or get promoted, and the mediocre ones quit within a year.

I simply want someone that knows more about my car than me, and will not BS me at every turn to try and save themselves any incremental time/effort.

Suggestions and referrals welcome!

Thanks... :D

Just moved to the area last March. Been to service twice at BMW Momentum West. First time in service was May and that SA no longer there. Last service about a month ago, SA at least recognized the problem, but slow, to no, calls during two days vehicle was in shop (I had to call each day). I'll be watching for other posts as well, as I'm not impressed to date. Hate going the entire day with no update, all the way to nearly closing with no update as to what's going on, and I have to call to find out it needs to stay overnight.

This echos my experience at BMW West. Unfortunately, from previous experience, the others are no better. I'm at a loss as to what to do.

Why don't you guys give Phong a call at Momentum SW......tell him I sent you his way. He's a knowledgeable guy. Also their service manager is in the Houston ///M Club....so he not only works with the cars, he tracks them on a monthly basis.....two good guys.........Phil

I once had an SA at Momentum West tell me they did not change brake fluid. I don't go there anymore.

I do most of my own work, but that's little help to the folks who are under warranty or don't have time to monkey with cars.

We had an awesome SA at MB San Antonio by the name of Mark. I would buy cars from whatever dealership he was at just to get service from him. He took care of our car and built relationships, sometimes at his own expense when it was fair.

There is plenty of work in this town not to have to worry about service, it seems.

My buddy who works at a BMW cert body shop says the downtown/midtown dealer is better, but I don't have firsthand experience there.

The Woodlands may be too far for you, but Carla Waddell here has been great for us. She is attentive and listens very carefully. She hasn't missed anything so far.... but also she won't call you until it is ready to pick up, so give her the details up front, and don't expect any hand holding. I would avoid North like the plague.
