I have a silver 08 3.0 with the black rear bumper which I hate! (hate the black bumper, not the x5). I've researched replacing it with a lci bumper but after adding up the prices on all the components I decided to go another route. My Delima on where to transition from the silver bumper to the black wheel arches was solved yesterday when my rear mud flaps arrived. I'm going to paint the entire bumper except for the bezels around the exhaust tips. The transition at the wheel arches and bumper are going to be covered by the mud flaps. I'll post pics after I'm done ;)
