Take it to a rim refinisher - your rim damage looks all cosmetic - they should be able to make it look like new again for a hundred or two.

Is it me or did he say the wife distracted him while he was driving and playing with the iDrive? That sounds like blaming the wife to me, though potentially (more than likely) he was joking about the wife distracting him. Sounds like the iDrive was the distraction that caused the concrete. Either way, glad everyone is ok. Stinks about the damage, but it's repairable.

In terms of the distraction ... I was resetting fuel consumption which cannot be done by voice command but my wife's purse was on top of the iDrive. It was that process of getting her to move the purse while I worked the iDrive when I lost my focus.
