E70 Tint
 

Hi,

Not sure if anyone here have tinted front windows to match the rear factory tint? Please post some pics and what film you have used and if you can recommend the shop that had done the work. I am looking to get my front windows tinted and would like to have a good match to a rear windows from factory.

i'm doing mine too... want to match the rear windows only..

i believe it is 35... llumar comes up alot... dark from outside but lighter from the inside..

also heard good things about 3M.

not sure about the ceramic types like Huper Optic...

there are plenty of places in NY... one on every corner.. ask around.

other inputs???

huper optic is nice but not really necessary in NY - different story if you were in Arizona where the sun really beats down on the interior - it would really keep the heat out. I don't have the rear climate package so I just did 35 front and back... I can only guess that it matches the factory tint. It's definitely not 20.
