I'm looking at a 2011 3.5 Prem X5, Conv, Tech, Cold Weather pkgs, confort access, 3rd row seats, multi contour seats, rear seat entertain. They want $53,500 (MSRP ~65K). Is this a good deal?

Seriously, unless you are keeping it for 10 years, it will be worth $4,5000 less than a 2012 when you try and sell it or trade it in 2015.

IMO unless you are paying significantly under INVOICE, just buy a 2012. Take 4-5 weeks to get- and exactly what you want.

The vehicle also has 20k miles on it. I was hoping they would CPO the vehicle, but no. I'm leaning towards a no purchase.

First post you made it sounded like its a brand new 2011 that's been sitting in the lot, now you are saying its used with 20k miles...... how can people help you if you don't give them the real info right off the bat?

20K miles and it's a year old ? Too many miles per year for my blood.

His next post will add that the right front suspension is busted.

i just did a quick search online for similar specs and found a CPO w/19k miles for $49k.

do your research...

get new or get CPO...
