Low beam bulbs on non xenon E70?
 

Hello, don´t have my owners manual handy to check myself, but does anyone know what type of low-beam bulb does a NON FACTORY XENON e70 use?

I´m planning on buying an MTEC conversion kit, but wanted to check on the bulb type before just to make sure I´m buying the right one.

What is a non factory xenon? My e70's had/have high/low beams in the xenon and day time regular bulbs in the other. Is that what your talking about?

Hello, I believe all E70´s on the US come with standard xenon headlights, however in some other countries (I believe latin america and australia), its an option. My 2012 X5 did not come with standard xenon low beam lights and I´m trying to buy a kit but I was wondering if someone knew what halogen bulbs are used on the vehicles that do not come with the xenon lights so that I can buy the correct kit.

I share your sentiments as well....paid over $80k for a lightly equipped 3.0d. I will probably buy the kit on ebay, saw some of those about a month ago claiming the were for the non-xenon E70´s, brand was MTEC and the sold for about $300. Now that I have the bulb type I need, I´ll go ahead and search for the kit again and will post the sellers link once I find it. I expect to have them installed in 2-3 weeks...will definitely post some pictures!
