i think they're pretty much all the same.. matt black painted plastic..

I just ordered mine from ebay for $100... same matt black to swap out the stock silver ones for my AW 50i w/m-sport...

as long as it fits perfectly you should be fine... once on they all look the same..

good luck with your swap..

Why don't you get the OEM performance grilles?

Thanks for the shout but after a post I read about an example ECS customer service and what can happen if any issues are encountered with the order, I probably wouldnt....

Dont want to have to go though the trouble of posting on here if that happened to me aslo.

I hesitated to respond like this but possibly this is feedback you may want to know.

I'm sorry to hear your basing your decision on 2nd had information. As with all companies there have been some issues in the past, but I work to make the customer as happy as possible regardless of the situation.

Thanks for the response James, but I am pretty sure that's how most things work when someone does research or receives information about a seller prior to doing business with them. It would be 2nd hand, no matter what.

That and I feel certain that if I asked ECS (1st hand) how well they treat their customers, the answer would not be "sure if you don't have issues with an electronic item or want to return anything that is."

Mainly I can tell you that in this post, (which I also commented in) ECS made no attempt to openly discuss what was going on. Only communicating in PM even when the buyer was requesting things be discussed in the open.

This pretty much ensured I would never do business with ECS, I am sure I an not the only one either.

For anyone curious about the item I am referring to:

The reason we choose to work with customers over PMs when there are issues is every situation is different. Just because something works for customer X doesn't mean it works for customer Y. Also often there is sensitive information which needs to be exchanged in regards to account information, addresses, etc. PMs help to prevent personal information from being available to anyone.

Sorry James, still not buying it. But I feel like this discussion will go nowhere so.....
