Michelin Latitude Diamaris 20" on E70?

Hello,

Really tried to get god information about this..

I have Y-spoke 214 to my E70 3.0si 2008. Now I need new tires, 275 40 20 and 315 35 20. I dont want Runflat. So my dealer home in Sweden says that Michelin Latitude Diamaris is a very good option for X5, E70. There is a lot of dealers saying that it fits good to my car.

What are you saying guys? It should not be a problem to change for them?

The Diamari's you will be lucky to get 12K miles out of them.

But how about the Load Index.. My dealer says that It is no problems with 102 instead of 106..

What do you typically carry? 4 people more than 5% of the time?

What are you looking for in a tire? Performance? Decent handling, but just solid 'SUV duty'?

I'd never use a lower load rated tire.

Use tirerack as a good screen with their individual ratings....not 100% perfect info, but good for forming an opinion

I am alone mostly. It is a mess everything with tire for X5.. Michelin has another tire with loadindex 106, but I dont know if that tire are same structure as the other ones..

tirerack says that 102 is ok...

2 dealers recommend them, tirerack recommend them, they have the BMW Star on the sides.. I can not see the problem..

Anyone run the Latitude tours?? My tire dealer guaranteed me 22.5K miles, which is not great, but better than nothing.

I have the Latitude Tour HPs on my X. Absolutely love them. Almost no road noise and great in the rain. Haven't had a chance to use them in light snow, and they're only about 3 months old so hard to say how long they'll last for sure...

I am excited about no road noise and non rft....

I live in Hot Springs Arkansas, we get very little snow, mostly rain then humid 100 degree weather. I am hoping for improved handling, we have lots of winding roads through the mountains...
