power steering failure
 

we had some heavy rain here in NY last night so I figured that the squealing that I heard at startup was the result of a wet belt. Well, I let the car idle for 2 minutes or so and the sound got a bit worse. I tried to back it out of my driveway when I realized that there was no power steering. Roadside picked it up (after 2.5 hours of waiting) and it is at the dealer. I will let you know when they figure it out.

Wound up being a belt tensioner. They had to order a new one but I should have teh car back tomorrow.

mine they changed the complete power steering wheel motor and costed 1300Euros
