hi...i am looking at a cpo 2009 4.8 from a local bmw dealer...it has cold/rear/tech/prem. packages with 31k miles..got him down to 37k and could probably get him to 36k....do you think it is a good deal...and what do you think the car would be worth in 3 years because i really dont want to keep it passed the cpo warranty...i was going to put 10k down and finance the rest with a very low interest rate...do you think i would get a good part of my 10k back after satisfing the loan...any input would be helpful...thanks rob....

A CPO 09 for $36 if it is what you are looking for is a decent good deal..not great, I don't know what the 4.8 adds to the price as I don't think that engine is necessary unless you are towing a good size trailer,
The 3.0 has plenty of power and is probably cheaper and less cost in maintenance
I have seen quite a few 09's in the mid to low 30's unfortunately my current car is Black Saphire, so I don't want anothr Black one, and White or Grey doesn't do it for me...I don't know what NY prices are in comparison to South FL, maybe cheaper and nicer cars here....check it out...fly down drive back have a few days at the beach
Where in NY are you...I lived in Oyster Bay for many years....

check swapalease dot com, they might have something that you might like... or not... worth a try... I think BMWFS does not allow a swap in the last 6 months of a lease...

And you can find a car with 12 months left with 20-30K available miles, if the previous person did not drive it much... Much better than getting a lease of your own with 12-or 15K miles annually...

Actually I am not looking at a lease, I want to BUY the car using the equity in my car and finance a balance with BMW Financial, like I have now....but I will have a look at swapalease
