SPARE TIRE

Run Flats....ugh
I have been pricing new X5'sand there is the option of having a "spare tire" for $150. From what I can determine, the sales people I have spoken to don't have a clue, it is the tire and wheel only, and will only fit under the rear compartment if no 3rd row seat....does it come with a jack?

I would think ex factory it would, the one i purchased from the parts department here in the UK had wheel, jack, wheel chock and wheel brace in a shaped poly molding for the wheel centre.

Spare tire is optional on E70, 5 seater...
It is a space saver type spare tire/wheel; works with any oe wheels.

It's a "full size" spare with a jack that all fits fully under the rear deck. As others mentioned this cannot be combined with the third row seating option.

Cheers,

To clarify:
"Full Size" is normally referred to as the same size tire and wheel that is on the car.
The X5 spare is a "donut", the diameter is the same as a tire on the car, but the width is significantly narrower and it's not meant to be driven on for long periods of time. It's temporary.

My 06 has a "full size" but it's a sport package vehicle with 18's and the "spare" is a 17" (which I guess is what the non-sport package uses)
