Just bought my wife a 2013 X5 35i Premium: Deep Sea Blue, Oyster Nevado Leather, Dark Bamboo, Convenience Pakage, Premium Sound, Nappa Leather Dash and Consule, Multi-Contour Seats, Running Boards, BMW Apps, Rear Seat Entertainment & BMW Assist.

The weird thing is that we ordered it and it only took 10 days to deliver. My salesman was completely shocked. I've attached a pic of the X5, and one of it's more aggressive friend ;).

Congrats! Are you sure this is *the* car you ordered? 10 days from ordering to delivery... is that even possible?

Yes I know it seems improbable, but it is exactly what we ordered including the leather dash and rear entertainment which I'm guessing isn't usually included on pre built X5s.

what is the date of the build? and the date of the order? is it built after you placed an order? or before?

Maybe it is the BMW Predictive Ordering System at work???!!!

I just checked the date of order was August 14th and it arrived at the dealership on August 28th, so it was really two weeks not 10 days. I'm not sure of the build date. Where could I find that? Would it be on the lamenated dealer sheet, or is it located somewhere else?

what is your last 7 of VIN?

Should be a metal plague affixed to the door jamb: it will have a build date, eg 8/12.
Could have been built/shipped, or copped from another dlr's inventory, etc.

They are building them quickly now, I ordered my X5 35d on August 18th which was a Saturday, order went into the system on Monday the 20th, finished production on Friday the 31st. I should take delivery later this week.

that is fast indeed - ordered on the 14th, completed on the 22nd, delivered on the 28th... I looked up some of your options, pretty impressive, and well loaded vehicle...

There is one option, that I am curious about - what is it? something about oil change?

I'm not sure what that is, although we did get the extended maintenance plan. We didn't pre-order that though.

interesting - maybe 24MONATE means extra 2 years? I know that on international market BMW sells additional warranties by the time and the kilometrage, so maybe this is one of those options applied in the US...
