spacers with rep 214s?

my car has oem 214s and i also have a set of black rep 214s that i just put on. the reps aren't nearly as flush to the fenders as the oems. does anyone have experience with spacers and reps that could advise me as to the size spacers i need to get flush?

I doubt that anyone could tell you unless they same reps as you (and you did not say what brand they are).

I would say you are best off trying to measure it yourself.

That being said, probably 15mm in front and 20mm in rear...

HERE is a link to a video we did showing how to measure for spacers it should help you out.

e6t if you need any help deciding on brands, style of spacer, etc feel free to ask. If you can't figure out exactly what size you'd like snap a few photos showing how the wheels fit some of the guys on here are pretty good at choosing spacers by looking at pics.

since its an x5, i dont think i need to be worried about the tire hitting the inside of the fender, so i measured from the outside of the fender to the widest part of the tire. in the front it was 20mm and in the back it was 35. does that sound right?

the car does have the flared fenders...

ecs, thanks for your help. ill be buying these and the longer bolts as soon as we decide what size!

it may help to know that i believe the wheels have a 45mm front and 40mm rear offset. seems the oems are 40 and 37, respectively. also, i believe the reps to be an inch narrower than the oem all the way around.

Go 15mm front and 25mm rear!

You could have just painted your OEM 214s, the reps aren't nearly as wide as OEM

Actually that's what one of my friends did. He power coated them in a black matte finish. They look great !!
