Angel Eye LED's
Just installed the LUMINUX H8 angel eyes in my 2009 from NAMO. However, I see there is also a kit from a company called LUX angel eyes with a current version of v3. Are there any differences between these two conversions in anyone's opinion?
IMO they are not as bright by a long shot compared to the factory 2013 LED corona's, even though they advertise as such. They are hard to see in bright sun. |
On the NAMO website for $149!? Point blank ROBBERY right there.
Get something similar or better from here for $40. Wide Selection of H8 H9 H11 LED Fog Lights or HID Conversion Kit Bulb I got a set from them and it works great for the past 2 years, ZERO problems. The set that I have they no longer carry, so I don't know about these new ones they have now. I can only assume they are better! |
We have some great H8 LED Angel Eye Upgrades by City Vision that we have had a lot of great luck with! Hope maybe this helps!
BMW Angel Eyes FYI most of these lights are somewhat drowned out by bright sunlight. BMW really didnt address this until the new 2012+ models in almost every class when they designed a new Angel Eye system. |
I wonder why they don't make more LED's on the bulb for brightness. All of these only have 4 LED's per bulb???

Maybe Xenon H8 bulb? Toying with the idea for quite a while now... My angel eyes are very bright, especially at night, but nowhere as close to as bright as the new 2013 angel eyes... Also, I would probably blank out the glass lens, as otherwise the inner angle eye will not be seen, and would basically be a high beam...
