OP, I fully sympathize with you as I had a similarly bad experience with my brand new X5d (see http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...s-already.html). At least you got a one month lease payment back... I didn't.

I stand by my advice on lemoning above.

I lemoned my 2010 at 32k miles, BUT by paying attention the the law, got back 96% of the money to buy a new 2012. (Two years old, 32k miles...net cost ~$2500.)

Once they get into 'weeks', they deserve a bashing.

Still haven't seen my car, and got notice today that BMW would be repurchasing the car under lemon law. From what I understand, it basically cancels my contract, and I start over again.

So now you get to order a new 2013 exactly the way you want it, or you could wait to see what the new 2014's are going to look like... :confused:
