Hi All,

I just got a new X5 and am trying to understand all the options with connecting iPhones etc. When I have my iPhone connected through the media adapter I can choose either iPhone with a "plugin symbol" or plugin also with that same plugin symbol. Depending on what I choose I get different interfaces. Choosing the plugin results in having to activate it, but also results in a better interface to browse through music. It is also seems that through this interface all I can do is play music and not choose videos, etc.

Does anyone know of a post, web article, etc that explains all these nuances?

owner manual?

The owners manual is not what I would describe as extensive in its explanation of the ipod and external interfaces including various BMW apps etc.
