210 style wheels on 2011 x5
 

Hi,

I have traded my 2008 x5 and have 2010 style wheels left from the car. The new vehicle is 2011 x5 5.0 which came with 20 inch wheels. I ve read some posts that bore bigger or smaller ? tpms do not match ? centercaps are diffirent ? can someone comment If i can use my 18 inch on this new ride?

the only difference is tmps sensors.

E70 X5 (all years) have the same wheel bore all around; 74mm

X5M, X6, X6M have 72.5mm for the rears.

The TPMS sensors may be OK. Depends on manufacture date; they changed after Oct 10th, 2010.

Thanks everyone, production date of the car is 10/2010 so tpms sensors will not work. and I do not have center caps, does anyone know where to get tpms ? And center caps? Also what size are the center caps required for 210 style wheels ?. Will I need to take the car to BMW dealer to program the tpms ?

You'll only need to reset tpms as it's described in the manual. 'Where to buy' q'n has been answered enough times already.
