Terrible pictures, but also eager to show KYZRSOSE off...
A few words before... I'm back to the E70, sticking with what I love - Space Gray. Since I have a passion for thirsty V8's, I believe I succeeded in replicating that from my 07. The TTV8 is wonderfully peppy, smooth and sounds great. I'm still getting used to the 8 speed tranny shift points (more specifically downshifting in Auto D mode.) I had 4 options when looking at some BMW E7X's. A replica of my old E70, but with the new engine. A fully loaded M Sport. A semi-loaded X6. ..and a X5M. Very quickly I determined to axe the plain E70 and E71. Now down to the nitty gritty, the X5M was 300 +/- more per month, which was already 300 over my budget. So, yes, I did blow my budget, but not as bad as I almost did. What are the similarities between L and I you ask? Well, aside from her recent color choice of Space Gray...I now have the M Performance package. The grin I had years ago in her X6 are completely the same now. Should I get a nice bonus check (or if someone wants to donate to the KYZRSOSE fund - a Dinan II or III might be added.) The additional outlet pipes on the standard muffler add just enough rumble to make me keep the stock unit on. When I get her clean, and its not f-ing freezing outside with a nasty wind...proper pictures to follow. ...hmmm I feel like I'm forgetting something....oh yeah - she is fully coded as of tonight. PM for the gentleman who did it. He was well versed, local to the DC/MD area, and a good guy to boot. Driving a 4 door M3 also helps. Coded features: M-Hud view (switchable between standard HUD and MView) Brake Force Lights on with Welcome (gradual) Front Fog Lights on with Welcome (gradual) Amber Front Turn Signals OFF with Welcome & Headlights on (only on when turn signal is being used.) - much cleaner look! Door open - one touch window up Key fob controls - (open outside mirrors, all windows and sunroof/shade) Key fob controls - (close outside mirrors, all windows and sunroof/shade) Key fob controls - (close rear hatch) Comfort access controls - (close outside mirrors, all windows and sunroof/shade) Disabled iDrive Accept screen Disabled rearview monitor warning notification Disabled seatbelt warning in iDrive (dont hate) Disabled seatbelt chime (dont hate) Double hazard blink with hazard switch Brake Force Lights to come on with standard braking (TBD) ...and now KYZRSOSE #4 Small vid of the coding: Pics: http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...221-184010.jpg http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...221-210153.jpg http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...221-210227.jpg http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...comebetter.jpg http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...10-mhude70.jpg |

Welcome Back ;)

Congratulations, Baron...I knew you had the Jones when I saw you in October.
Maybe S can buy you a decent cam for the holidays?! ;) GL, mD & V |
Looks great! Wish the 5.0 was a bit cheaper in the UK. For the price I paid from my 40d in the UK, I could of bought a full spec X5 M in the US :( I hate vehicle Tax.. Looking to do some similar coding, front Fogs only though. They will also be 6000k Xenons :D Did this on my previous X5 and S500 4MATIC and the Xenon looks great lighting up at night!

A very interesting thing has occurred with the M View in the HUD. Those with a true ///M might be aware of this currently. When the X is cold, there is more Red and Yellow in the Tach line. As the engine warms up, there is less Red and Yellow, and more Green. Very cool!
...here's a better shot of the KYZ#4 http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...222-164557.jpg http://www.xoutpost.com/members/kyzr...545-1-copy.jpg |
