I once saw an E34 wagon towing an E34 sedan on a full trailer. it was awesome.

It was a salvage E39 from an insurance auction. It had some crash damage. I got it for a song. Figured it would be a nice summer project. It turned out to be quite a rare model, with the sport, premium, and cold weather packages, and a manual transmission. It is rearward on the trailer because it came without keys, and the steering wheel was locked. It was a lot easier to unload and park on my driveway in that position.

I tow a '99 E46 track prepared 328i. My X5 tows it like a dream.

I tow a 6.5M Boat tandem trailer with a 40D. Best Tow vehicle I have experienced
