E70 still won't start
 

For the last two months, I have been having problems getting my 2008 3.0si to start. The battery is new (installed by the dealer) and it cranks perfectly but the engine just won't start on a regular basis. Sometimes the car starts but then immediately stalls. Other times it takes several tries, with lots of cranking, before it finally starts. I have taken it to the dealer twice, last week they installed a new fuel pump for $850 (they surmised the internal fuel pressure regulator was leaking) but they can find no other problems and the non-starting issue persists.

For years, this X5 started perfectly, first try, every time. Thanks to all who have offered suggestions. I will take it back to the dealer yet again but was hoping someone on the board might have a suggestion. Could this simply be a tuning problem, it seems as though the engine isn't getting any fuel?
