Space Saver Spare

Hello,

Will selecting this option (on a 2013) give me regular tires instead of run flats?
Where does this space saver spare sit? Does it raise the rear load floor?

Thanks

Daniel

No.

All that Penguin has said is correct. One additional item of note: if the space saver is not ordered you get a large carpet finished area under the cargo area floor. If it is ordered the area under the cargo floor is unfinished and filled with the tire, jack, etc. We opted to not order the space saver for ours but we are picking one up aftermarket only for long distances. This creates a dual use space.

Could you give me a lead on an aftermarket space saver as I'm running RFT's on my E53 (X6M wheels) Importing from the USA no problem. Thank you.

You can order them on Amazon but they are EXPENSIVE at around $400 for the set. I paid $308 from a dealer @ (supposeldy) dealer 'cost'. This is due to the fact that BMW discontinued the after-market "kit" and the ONLY way to buy it through the dealer now is via individual parts and those add up QUICKLY.

You CAN buy these parts from aftermarket dealers online, even @ Amazon for around $380.

PS - Be careful when buying because some sellers (advertising around $330) don't include the jack and (obviously) you would need that as well, right?
